Pulpdent® Begins Rollout of New Packaging Designs and Eco-friendly Box
Pulpdent’s popular Etch-Rite™ etching gel and ACTIVA™ Presto™ bioactive restorative are first to debut
March 21, 2024 – Watertown, Mass., USA – Pulpdent Corporation is pleased to announce that new updates are coming to its packaging, including updated designs and a new eco-friendly product box. The changes began to reach the marketplace in Q1 2024, starting with Pulpdent’s popular Etch-Rite etching gel and latest groundbreaking bioactive restorative, ACTIVA Presto.
Pulpdent manufactures all its products at its Watertown, Massachusetts, production facilities. The changes are part of the 77-year-old company’s long-term strategic plan to remain a leader in all aspects of dental material manufacturing.
“We are proud to introduce these changes, and look forward to the response from our customers around the globe,” says Pulpdent Vice President Don Berk. “The new eco-friendly box, in particular, is something I am particularly proud of. It is recyclable and will eliminate hundreds of thousands of single-use plastic containers, which is a great thing for dentistry and our global community.”

Pulpdent’s new packages include paper “tear-strip” boxes, which are replacing plastic “clam-shell” containers. The new paper boxes, which were designed by Pulpdent Vice President Don Berk, are part of Pulpdent’s efforts to incrementally reduce the environmental impact of the company. The boxes meet both US and international packaging standards.
More Changes to Come
In 2024, Pulpdent expects to update additional product lines, including its ACTIVA™ BioACTIVE™ family of resoratives.
